Sandra has been an attorney for 22 years; for over 10 years, her practice consisted primarily of construction defect litigation, including trials; for the past 12 years, she has practiced general civil litigation, employment law, and more recently pharmacy law.
Sandra was an ambassador for the Alzheimer’s Association for the State of California; she was the past chair for 5 years of the Construction Defect Section of the OCBA, she was a fee dispute arbitrator for the OCBA, and she is currently the chair-elect for the Small/solo practice section of the OCBA. She is also currently a small claims judge in Orange and Riverside Counties. In her free time, Sandra enjoys hiking, swimming, reading, and cooking.

Carole's practice focuses on legal ethics, professional responsibility and the law of lawyering, including advising lawyers and law firms and rendering expert opinions. She also serves as an expert consultant on issues involving legal ethics including legal fees, billing, fee arrangements, conflicts of interest, fee sharing, referral fees, unauthorized practice of law, withdrawal from representation, modification of fee arrangements, client trust accounting, and other issues.

Prior to joining Procopio, Carole was a sole practitioner in the field of legal ethics, issues involving professional responsibility, and the law of lawyering. Carole also served as dean of St. Francis School of Law. Carole has previously worked in litigation, as in-house counsel, as a federal prosecutor, and she has taught and worked in administration at multiple law schools. Carole was a member of the California State Bar’s Committee on Professionalism and Conduct (COPRAC) starting in 2005. She served as COPRAC chair in 2009-2010, and later as the Special Advisor to the Committee. Carole is a member and former Co-Chair of the Professionalism and Ethics Committee of the Orange County Bar Association. She is a member and former chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Committee on Professional Responsibility and Ethics Committee (PREC). Carole is also a member of the San Diego County Bar Association’s Legal Ethics Committee.
Carole has also spoken and written extensively on a wide variety of ethics-related topics. Through COPRAC, the LACBA, SDCBA, OCBA, PLI, CEB, and other organizations, Carole has spoken at the State Bar’s Annual Ethics Symposiums, State Bar Annual Meetings, bar association MCLE programs, and in other venues on a wide variety of ethics-related topics including attorneys’ fees, client trust accounting, conflicts of interest, confidentiality issues, screening, judicial recusal, lawyer advertising, collaborative law, prosecutorial misconduct, ethical issues arising from lawyer impairment, and many others. Carole has also participated as a panelist on the annual update on ethics-related cases. Also on behalf of COPRAC, Carole has closely monitored the work of the Commission on the Revision of the Rules of Professional Conduct, and has written and spoken on the new California Rules of Professional Conduct.

Amy is a Colorado native with over 15 years’ experience serving individuals, families, and professionals working within the intersections of the courts, child welfare, behavioral health, and trauma. Amy received her BA from the University of Hawai’i-Hilo and her MSW and MBA from Newman University. Ms. Kingery is a licensed clinical social worker and licensed addiction counselor in the state of Colorado. She has served on numerous state and national task forces focused on combating the harmful impacts of substance use on individuals, communities, and systems. Amy’s work has predominantly centered around trauma-informed practices, secondary trauma support for professionals, and promoting collaborative practice models geared towards increasing equitable access to quality treatment and sustaining healthy family, community and organizational outcomes.

Gail Kagan is a past president of the New York State Professional Process Servers Association (NYSPPSA) and currently acts as the Legislative Chair. She has been president of Asubpoena for the past 15 years and has been serving process since 2002. ASubpoena, is certified by NYSPPSA and is a member of the National Association of Professional Process Servers (NAPPS), FAPPS, NJPPSA, and ServeNow among other organizations. Her paralegal certificate, with honors, was from the ABA-approved USD Paralegal program. Sheila has advanced her paralegal experience by becoming both a Relativity Certified User (RCU) and a Certified eDiscovery Specialist (CEDS).

Sheila is a fierce advocate for training, education, mentorship, and professional development for the legal community. Her most recent adventure is working with the San Diego Paralegal Association on the "Virtual Lunch with Leaders" series. This weekly online program was developed to promote professional development through discussions or presentations by leaders in the legal industry.

Recently, her eDiscovery achievement was acknowledged when she was appointed to be a Global Advisory Council participant for EDRM. In addition, Sheila is the assistant director of the San Diego Chapter of Women in eDiscovery. She is an active member of the San Diego Paralegal Association and the National Association of Legal Assistants.

Caren has enjoyed a career as a general civil law paralegal specializing in labor and employment law/litigation with Baker, Baker & Krajewski LLC or its predecessor since 1987. Ronda has owned and operated her private investigation agency, ICU Investigations, since 2003 and also serves as a certified paralegal. From 1983 to 1995, Godard worked for the Utah County Sheriff, Springville Police Dept, and Clovis NM Police Dept as a dispatch supervisor/training coordinator. From 1995 to 1999, she worked with the Office of Recovery Services as an investigator, the Dept of Human Services/child welfare as a quality control manager, supervised visitation coordinator, and supervisor.
